Netherlands has only achieved some of its objectives in Uruzgan

The objectives formulated by the Netherlands four years ago for the mission in Uruzgan have only been partially achieved, the ministries of defence and foreign affairs admitted on Wednesday at their last joint press conference on the mission that ends on 1 August. Building the local Afghan government has, in particular, proved tougher than expected.
